Levi Barcourt, who began studying piano at age 8, garnered four piano competition scholarships by the age of 16. After graduating from the famed High School of Music & Art in New York, he attended the Hartt College of Music at the University of Hartford and then Purchase Conservatory of Music where he received his Bachelor of  Fine Arts Degree and his Masters Degree.

This multi-talented artist is in high demand as a musical director, pianist, composer, conductor and arranger.  He has worked in various capacities for such notables as Melba Moore, Freda Payne, Ashford and Simpson, The New York Boys Choir, the Harlem Opera Society,  the New York Jazz Quartet,  and nine-time Grammy winning group, TAKE 6.  

Levi Barcourt also opened the Big Band concert series for TV personality, Regis Philbin.  His performance with Melba Moore and his jazz trio at the famous St. Lucia Jazz Festival was released on DVD by Black Entertainment Television (BET)
